Book Signing in Lowell, MA

Join reclusive and enigmatic author Marty Barrett on Saturday, October 8, at 2 p.m. for a book signing and laying-on of hands at lala books, 189 Market Street, in Lowell.

Lowell is the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Jack Kerouac, Ed McMahon, Bette Davis, and the expression LOL. The author once met the band Cutting Crew (“I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight”) at a Pizza Hut there.

LaLa Books is Lowell’s newest bookstore, a fierce and plucky bulwark against illiteracy, run by former teacher Laura Lamarre Anderson and her family.
